“We are extremely pleased to be the #1 rated financial planning software in the market in terms of overall satisfaction of our users for the third year running. Only planning software provider to achieve a positive overall “net promoter score”
The Investment Trends 2011 Planner Technology Report introduced a metric called the “net promoter score”. This metric measures advisers’ advocacy of the planning software they use, and is a tool to measure how likely it is that an adviser would recommend their planning software to another adviser. In the Investment Trends survey, Midwinter achieved the highest and only positive net promoter score from any planner using the software.
Investment Trends asked primary users of midwinter to say in their own words what they saw as the best features of Midwinter, to which easy to use (31%) and modelling capabilities (29%) were the most popular responses.
Commenting on Midwinter achieving the only positive net promoter score overall, McClelland said, “Our software has been designed with two key drivers in mind; flexibility and simplicity. It is our extensive financial planning experience that has allowed us to continually find that ‘right mix’ between flexibility and simplicity during the last three years. We believe this is the main reason we receive such large amounts of positive word of mouth.”
